Factory Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Factory Manager to join a leading manufacturer with an excellent reputation based in Blackwood.

Factory Manager Benefits:

• £55,000 - £65,000 pa.
• Monday to Friday 39 hours per week working days (early finish on a Friday).

Factory Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee two fast-growing food manufacturing facilities, managing a growing team consisting of the production manager and shift managers.
• Meeting production targets and liaising with Senior Management regarding planning.
• Responsible for managing daily functions, streamlining processes, reducing waste, and increasing productivity.
• Demonstrate people management and motivation to create a flexible, effective and multi skilled workforce across all disciplines.
• Provide training and resources to ensure production teams understand safety protocols.
• Identify, prioritise and delegate actions maximising available resources ensuring effective management of workload.
• Develop and sustain a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism, demonstrating active support in the company's values, behaviours, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare production reports for senior management/director.

Factory Manager Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• * Food safety qualification level 3 and above.
• * HACCP level 3.
• * Knowledge and experience of external audits.
• * People management qualification to level 5 or higher e.g. ILM or NVQ.
• * Continuous Improvement qualification.
