Job Description

Vibe Recruit's client is looking to appoint a Conveyancing Solicitor to join a their team. You will be part of a leading law firm specialising in residential conveyancing.

You will be a skilled and experienced Conveyancer who will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property sales and purchases, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Manage your own case load from onboarding to completion.
  • Conducting title checking, raising enquiries, reporting to the client, reviewing search results and drafting legal documents.
  • Manage re-mortgage and transfer of equity transactions.
  • Deal with more complex transactions, such as shared ownership, leasehold matters, lease extensions, sales and purchases of part, plot purchases and right to buy.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the property transaction.

The following qualifications and skills will be required:

  • Qualified Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer with at least three years' fee earning experience in a residential conveyancing role.
  • Excellent knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures, CQS Protocol and Anti-Money Laundering legislation.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with minimum supervision.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and conveyancing case management software.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client service.
  • Experience in managing a team of legal assistants is a plus.
